This grave marker which is at St. Joseph’s Cemetery located at
179 Hackensack Avenue Hackensack, New Jersey reveals the rank, company, and brigade John Raffa served with during World War I and  when he passed away at the age of 69.

John Raffa is on the Honor Roll list which was in the paper in October of 1918 telling of the local men who were serving from Hackensack and the surrounding area. John Raffa was buried in Hackensack, so for that reason he is under World War I Era.
